Rights and use

The Macroscopic Chemistry framework, the Five Foundational Assumptions, and the source writings this reader is built from are the work of Merrill Sanders, and are his copyright. He spent over forty years teaching and practising chemistry, and this framework is the distillation of it.

The concept pages are stitched from those sources and carry his voice. The learning modules, the illustrations and the site itself are newly made for this reader and are © 2026 Macroscopic Chemistry. They are not Merrill Sanders' writing and are not presented as such.

What you may do

Read all of it, freely, without an account. Quote it, in an essay, a lesson, a paper, or an answer, with attribution to Merrill Sanders and a link back. Teach from it. Point a class at it. Cite a definition. Argue with it in public.

This site is deliberately open to search engines and to assistant crawlers. A framework that nobody can find teaches nobody, and being quotable is the point rather than a leak.

What is reserved

Reproducing the corpus wholesale, or presenting this work as your own, is not permitted. The difference between quoting a framework and republishing it under another name is not a fine one, and it is the line this notice draws.
